During the whole period of the internship, the intern learned a lot about the banking operation of Nepal SBI Bank Limited in particular. In a review of this internship at Nepal SBI Bank, Narayangarh Branch has been an excellent and rewarding experience. The intern has been able to meet and build a network with so many people that may help the intern to get opportunities in the future. The intern got the opportunity to learn about functions and activities performed in different departments. Intern got an insight into professional practice.
The internship at NSBL helped me to gain in-depth knowledge about the real working environment, interpersonal and communication skills, organizational culture and behavior, professional qualities, and building spirit as well as working samples of commercial banks. During the internship, I learned many aspects other than banking as socializing makes the working environment friendlier. I also learned the importance of behavioral issues. The customers are to be treated properly and friendly way for their full satisfaction. This will help the bank to achieve success by creating loyal customers and retaining them.
In conclusion, it can be conveyed that CSD is the most sensitive department. It is very clear that the bank realizes a huge part of income through customer satisfaction. Although other departments also play a sensitive role in the success of the bank, huge credit goes to the customer service department as it gives the first impression to the customers. Hence, the bank must analyze such factors to gain success in the future period through fulfilling customers’ needs and demands. Finally, I learned about various activities of CSD. The meaning of professionalism was only understood through it.
