Summary
An internship is a unique aspect of education that integrates study with planned and supervised career-related work experience. It is a short-term training conducted in an organization where theoretical knowledge is practically implemented. The Graduating Students conduct an internship in their final semester depending upon the course adopted. The internship report is submitted as per the requirement of the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) course, which comprises 8 critical credit hours. The main objective of the study is to help the intern expose theoretical knowledge gained inside the classroom to the real working environment. The internship program also helped me to understand the activities performed by various departments as well as the working principles of banks. The intern conducted an internship in NSBL for a period of two months. The internee gained practical experience and knowledge about the work environment during the internship.
During the course of the internship, the internee performed the duties assigned to her under the guidance and supervision of the supervisor. The intern was able to gain knowledge about the customer service department of the bank. The intern also learned about work responsibility, work ethics, and culture in the workplace. The internee also learned about time management and communication skills which are very important for doing a job properly.
