Entrepreneurship Development During Business Startup in Chitwan District (Summer Project)

Executive Summary

The key argument of this paper is that entrepreneurship development is mainly focused on the development, and promotion of various small enterprises and dealing with various issues as well as support measures. Entrepreneurship is important because it will not only create employment but it will create positive impacts on the youth. To do something in own country and to instill hope, dignity, self-esteem, and positive culture, entrepreneurship must flourish sustainably. The major objective of this paper is to analyze critical issues, conditions, and support measures associated with the entrepreneurs residing within the Chitwan area. For meeting the objectives, the online questionnaire method was used to collect the data. The study findings reveal due to a lack of proper financial, human, and other support measures, a lack of proper knowledge for starting a new business, and higher crowded market and high competition many entrepreneurs were facing issues during their startup phase. Corruption and government policies were also major problems. Hence, understanding entrepreneurship development is critical to understanding how that system affects startups. It would be easier for entrepreneurs to overcome the challenges they face if there is an adequate entrepreneurial ecosystem in place with various supportive factors for start-ups to grow. Government should also pay attention to the current rules and regulations.
