Customer Service and Operation Activities of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Limited (Internship Report)
During the internship period at NCC Bank Ltd, I achieved real-life job experience, which is very important for any outgoing student; they have to compete in the competitive market and should prove themselves competent. During the internship, the theoretical knowledge learned in college was implemented practically as the Nepalese banking and financial industry has gone through a long process over the last decade. The services and technologies are ever-increasing in this field. The bank has been positioning itself in different ways.
The working environment of the bank is entirely satisfactory. Conceptually, there is a hierarchy barrier within the bank, but practically, the hierarchical boundary seems negligible. It is working to make its image and a distinct position in the market. NCC Bank has been a forerunner in Nepal’s banking sector, serving the customer’s needs since 1996. My observation at the bank made me believe its slogan, “Your Business Bank,” has been justified. NCC Bank will surely put a formidable challenge to its competitors while providing even improved services in the domestic market. There is a good relationship with the customers, which attracts them to cross-selling products and services.
The NCC Bank has been trying to add milestones in the Nepalese banking sector. The NCC Bank has developed a product demanding the challenges of today’s banking industry. The development and services of NCC Bank are Mobile Banking, Internet banking, Visa Debit Cards, different loan and payment modes, etc.
The NCC Bank has an excellent public impression because of the fast and reliable services provided by the department. Moreover, the general relation of the NCC Bank is also impressive. The customers are also very good at responding. Overall, customers are satisfied with the service NCC Bank provides.
While interning at the NCC Bank, interns got an excellent opportunity to learn the basic functioning of banks and finance, especially customer service, ATM card handling, customer dealing, and remittance. Besides these, the intern learned lessons from this internship to handle the situation, get familiar with work life, participate in problem-solving, etc. Moreover, it was an excellent opportunity to learn practically at the NCC Bank, and the knowledge gained will be helpful in the future.
